Step-by-Step Process

ImmuneSecurity offer complete implementation services, which together with our services for customer risk analysis and compliance requirements analysis ensure that our solution meets or exceeds our customers expectations.

Our implementation process consists of a number of well documented steps in order to plan and execute an efficient and correct implementation.

Scope and Requirements
Establishing a pre-installation document (PID) with definitions of systems and architectures as well as success criteria, relating to requirements or compliance demands. Identification of customer specific demands, applications and/or customization needs.

Pre-installation meeting
Preplanning for the physical installation, including risk classification of nodes, network settings, roles and responsibilities.

Installation and basic configuration
Installation at customer premises, where the LogInspect appliance will be installed and configured with basic functionality, accounts created etc.

Log integration
After basic installation the LogInspect appliance will start receiving the logs from the defined systems, and ImmuneSecurity will ensure that logs are collected and basic signatures will be activated.

Baselining
Following basic installation the system will collect logs for a couple of weeks, after which there is enough data to perform adjustments and tuning.

Verification and Tuning
Verification of log collection and event generation, and tuning of parameters if necessary.

Training
Hands-on workshop where the customer is trained on the LogInspect system in terms of operation and maintenance, including dashboard configuration, defining security policies, event correlation and reporting.

Implementation Protocol
With installation, log integration, baselining, tuning and training in place, the implementation is completed and documented in an Implementation Protocol which is handed to the customer.
